Drawings and Collages

The medium that first comes to the minds of most adults for allowing young children to express themselves is that of drawing. It is familiar, enjoyable for most young children, and inexpensive. ¹ But drawing has its pitfalls. Some of them are reviewed here, together with some alternative forms of collective visual expression that enable all children to be involved.
