ABSTRACT
Management planning provides a means of considering all the options available over a period of time. It ensures that the most important factors are given priority and it allows rational consideration to be given before any action is taken. To ensure continuity, plans need to be written down, and this remains true no matter how small the wood. This part of the book provides the guidance needed for drafting a small wood management plan.
