ABSTRACT
Fossil fuel utilization is highest in developed countries, where it is usually used for transportation and for the production of heat and electricity. Fossil fuels have a detrimental impact on the environment and our planet, and supplies are limited, so it is now time to look for a new source of energy that is environmentally friendly and that can be sustainably produced for future generations. The sustainable production of biomass is one of the most promising possibilities for moving the energy production trend away from fossil fuels.
