ABSTRACT
Location: The Forum in Rome lies in a valley roughly 1,700 feet from the left bank of the Tiber River. Originally two small public squares, the Forum spread to its outermost boundaries at the Capitoline and Palatine Hills over the course of 900 years of expansion and development.
