ABSTRACT
This study concludes with a set of policy proposals concerning political leadership, the EPA science budget, and peer review. The policy proposals are targeted at three factors over which EPA exerts at least some control and that were identified in Chapter 5 as having a major influence on the agency’s acquisition and use of science.
