ABSTRACT
In spite of a comparatively small home market, Sweden is at the forefront of the field of solar heating, even though conditions have not been particularly favourable. A difficult competitive situation (the energy price) and a stop–go energy policy are two of the obstacles that have hindered the use of solar heating in Sweden.
