ABSTRACT
At one time it was the devil and alls task to make haste to the cloth fair or the cheese fair before all custom had vanished before us; but now it is the merchants who seek us out and beg us to attend that they may do lively busyness; for folk will walk out of theyre way to see a three breasted woman or a learned pig and may therefore be trapped into buying cheese or gingerbread or jewjaws for their finery.
