ABSTRACT
Perhaps the best way to perceive the importance of these conversations with Robert Frost during 1939-1941 is within the much larger context of our twenty-three years of friendship up to Frost’s death in January 1963. These and other conversations provided much important knowledge and understanding that led to my publication, Robert Frost: The Poet as Philosopher (2007).
