Beyond this, the committee's responsibility would be primarily educational. Its function would be to educate universities to the need for professional training and advise with them on the necessary steps in the process of preparation for clinical psychology. The committee would also encourage responsiveness to the changing need of psychology by holding conferences of the various workers in the field, both from the university and from the field training centers, at which such problems as standards, curriculum and technics would be considered.
