ABSTRACT
As the national election unfolded, the author addressed critical points of discussion related to condition and in response to particular events. The financial markets have been used for rampant speculative profiteering; the proposed blank check is unfair to the American taxpayer who has been hoodwinked by these snake oil salesmen with MBAs. With a small window of reflection on the George H. W. Bush/Henry Paulson financial sector "bailout" proposal, clearly a bit of skepticism was warranted. Russia dismantled its main land-based intelligence gathering facility in the Western Hemisphere in Lourdes, Cuba. The Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has increasingly stirred nationalistic passion and pride within Russia and, given his actions, expects to bring his country back to superpower level. Colonel Chavez is a very effective, charismatic and personally charming politician who knows how to play the populist game in Venezuela and Latin America, feeding the egos of nationalists and playing wedge politics with a vengeance.
