ABSTRACT

This chapter talks about political science and its concern with problems of development is that the political problems specifically related to economic development have not received much attention. With the kind of formulation, people can look at the problems of social development as the adjustment of the social system to three different aspects of the environment. For instance, take their attitude on solving economic problems, regardless of whether they are correct or not in terms of economic theory. If a leader wants to acquire international reputation, he needs to have some kind of a capital-intensive complex to show the visiting dignitaries from other countries. Prolonged foreign policy crises lead to increased government direction of the economy, which in turn will tend to limit popular representation. Containing about one hundred families, it combines both elements of cooperation and of private-investment initiative.
