The Colonial Secretary ¹ is to be congratulated upon the step which he has just taken towards organizing the Colonial Medical Services. It is true that it touches only one part of a larger question, for the new regulations organizing a West African Medical Staff, which are printed at page 343, apply only to one section of the Colonial Medical Service, but we hope that it is only a prelude to further developments.
