On vultures, which Aristotle and Pliny call eagles: their differences and peculiar characteristics

EARLIER in this book, following Albertus, I reported on the different species of eagle, a bird which is found quite commonly in northern climes. I have therefore considered it proper to introduce here something on the differences and qualities of vultures, which Aristotle and Pliny called eagles. ¹
