ABSTRACT

IN very early times a pestilence had been so rife among human beings in the northern kingdoms that even princes were eliminated, yes, even royal progeny and the families of powerful nobility. After a long time had elapsed, the people, headless, as it were, came together under a discordant and chaotic government, since no one any longer held solid power confirmed by law or authority. Indeed, their unhappy fate had reached such a point that in council no one trusted anyone else, none was willing to con form, none considered what might be the consequence of this horrible lack of agreement.
