ABSTRACT
OCCASIONALLY a woman, a newly wedded bride that is, who has been taken by her husband from her father's house, as I described above, dies on the way before she reaches her husband's dwelling. If that happens, her body is normally taken back to her father's house, so that the funeral rites may be observed where the wedding or betrothal feast was held.
