ABSTRACT
DEEP grief overtakes good parents should they learn that their sons have fallen into lamentable ways owing to depraved companions or dangerous revolt, when they have long taught these same sons to keep to the practice of every virtue. Yet no punishment, whether light or severe, has enabled them to restrain their wilful boys from committing crimes, owing to the influence of their wicked associates.
