ABSTRACT
We all have our Fairylands, a state of mind we need to find, a goal we hope to achieve, an Ideal Place or Happy Otherworld where we long to go: the Land of Lost Content, Shangri-La, Where the Rainbow Ends, Deamland, Paradise ... or the Neverland of Childhood and the nostalgia for the 'Before Times'. We are not willing 'to stay at home for ever'. Art comes to aid us at times, words and music especially, helped by our own imagination and sensitivity, our 'transport to the stars'.
