ABSTRACT
According to the Annual Report of the Chief Inspector of Mines, that Department is making a rough survey of amang head – a survey that has been in progress since March, 1936. According / to the Quarterly Bulletin for September 1938, stocks of amang surveyed by that date amounted to 358,700 tons. It is not known how many years’ accumulation this stock represents, and what is the annual addition to the stocks resulting from new operations.
