ABSTRACT
On the appearance of an article recently published by one of our monthly contemporaries entitled, “Does a Man Shorten his Life by Insuring it?” made up, as we are given to understand, from a collection of facts furnished by the British Life Insurance Companies, to Mr. Mayhew, / relative to impositions which had been practiced upon them. On perusing the article referred to, we deemed it out duty to address the following circulars to each of the Life Insurance Companies in the United States:–
