Life Insurance. – We are reminded of the beneficial effects of life insurance, by a recent instance which has come to our knowledge. A respectable lawyer in Georgia, having effected insurance on his life at the old Pennsylvania Life Insurance and Annuity office in Third-street, recently died, and the sum insured, nearly $5000 was promptly paid.
