ABSTRACT
The marriage of a 'Robert Tallentyre and Anne Yarde' took place at St Botolph, Aldgate, on 15 Nov 1582, but whether this was the Chapel Royal man is unconfirmed. Tallentire was sworn as epistoler in the Chapel on 25 Dec 1581, but was paid from 2 Oct 1581. He witnessed a number of admissions recorded in the Cheque-Book: 18 June 1592 decree concerning extraordinary gentlemen 23 Oct 1592 admission of Peter Wright 18 Nov 1592 admission of Thomas Gold 2 Dec 1592 decrees concerning admissions and confidentiality 11 Dec 1592 admission of Henry Aldred as groom 25 Dec 1592 admissions of vestry officials 20 Jan 1595/6 suit for additional pay for Chapel gentlemen 9 June 1597 admission ofNathaniel Giles 19 Apr 1598 decree concerning fines He died on te Aug 1598 and was replaced by John Baldwin.
