ABSTRACT

Training BOE members is an on-going endeavor that can be the linchpin to a great relationship or the key to continued frustration on the part of the board member and yourself. If done correctly, it can strengthen your focus and dramatically enhance the power to achieve positive results for your district. By contrast, in not giving training a priority, the risk is trying to conduct the business of education when those with tremendous responsibilities are unsure of what to do or how to go about their tasks.
