ABSTRACT
I sat in amazement. I had scheduled a pre-observation with a new teacher. As part of the pre-observation, every teacher is required to fill out their pre-observation sheet. This teacher makes it a point to penalize her/his students if they do not have their work handed in on time. This teacher came to this meeting without the pre-observation sheet. When I brought up the ironic situation, the teacher did not make the connection and struggled to understand my reaction. Was it arrogance on my part or that of the teacher, or did I just not understand and try to make a connection where there was not one to make? The teacher did not do their homework.
