ABSTRACT

The predicate of a nominal sentence may also be an adverbial of place starting with a preposition. The preposition f- means ‘in’, and is connected to the word following it.

ɍ-ɍažel fe-l-bus̶ŧa. The man <is> at the post office.

l-bit fe-s-sefli. The room <is> on the ground floor.

l-weld fe-l-meg̶rib. The boy <is> in Morocco.

ana fe-l-ingliz. I <am> in the UK.
