ABSTRACT
Negating verbs is different from what you have seen so far. The negation consists of two parts: ma- is placed before the verb and -š after it. Schematically:
ma- verb -š object
ma- ka-nšuf - š l-g̶ŭɍɍaf
ma- ka-tšuf -š l-gaɍɍu
ma- ka-tšufi - š† š-šems
