ABSTRACT

To express a possessive pronoun (my, your, etc.), you usually use the preposition dyal, meaning ‘of’, followed by a suffix:

le-ktab dyal-i. the book of me, my book / The book belongs to me.

l-kŭnnaš dyal- 94 ________ your notebook / The notebook belongs to you.
