ABSTRACT

The problem of housing the smaller producer has been given little attention in the past. An analysis of the industries in which small producers are most common helps to indicate the type of accommodation suitable for them. In addition to the embryo industries there is a large number of small producers who prefer to be their own masters in a trade where the output of the larger factories still leaves them sufficient scope.
