ABSTRACT
Jonathan Miller has always been among those who allow others to take the credit while he does the hard work. Symbolic of this condition, the author have always thought, was the fact that he shared his name with the brilliant British theater and opera director, Jonathan Miller. No one ever suspected the Jon Miller of starring in Beyond the Fringe. Along with the family he fathered in the theater, he has been the father of two glorious children, Abigail and Ben, while being happily married to Ellen, the lovely and loving wife who gave birth to them. But he has been a bright star throughout all these years, providing the illumination with which many great talents have been able to do their work. So hail to Jonathan Miller and everything he represents. The art of the stage would not exist without people of his modesty and selflessness.
