ABSTRACT

The chapter defines and describes what strategy means for an organization. It focuses on differentiate between the different types of strategies. The chapter explains the benefits of using the concept of strategy. The central role of goals is to move the organization and training towards achieving the respective visions. A SWOT analysis involves identifying the important strengths and weaknesses of the organization, as well as the external opportunities and threats that the organization needs to consider in formulating a strategy.
