ABSTRACT
Chapter 3 discusses the development of the Risk-Need-Responsivity (RNR) model, including its underlying theory. Since the 1990s, the RNR model emerged as the dominant approach to undertaking rehabilitation. This chapter details how the RNR model's theoretical framework explains, predicts, and aims to influence criminal behavior.
