The Bayley Scales provide mental and motor developmental indices of developmental age and developmental quotient. The Decarie Scales of Objectal development and Object Constancy provide criterion measures with equivalent norms in mental age. The Rorschach Ink Blot test was administered to all children from ages five through nine. Beery Buktenika Visual Motor Integration Testis a visual motor drawing test comprised of designs of increasing difficulty that spans the ages from two to 15 with a scoring system that gives a mental age. The Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, Revised (WISC-R) was administered to all children at age seven, one family at age eight, and four families at age nine from the nuclear sample.
