ABSTRACT

When you mix on a regular basis, your main challenge isn’t the technical execution of the mix. Being able to be objective about your own work and staying fresh and confident enough to be creative then become more important. Creativity doesn’t rely on magic, but on the right conditions. If you consciously manage your doubts, if you create clear goals and deadlines, and if you are mindful of how the music strikes you on first listen, you are more likely to deliver good mixes at the end of the day.
