ABSTRACT
‘Chapter 8: Sex (It Bears Repeating)’ returns to questions of sexuality and crucial explorations of intimacy. Gradual disclosures of intimate information among our characters allow exploration of and ‘tests’ against the possibilities of confluent love as part of mature identities. Explicitly sexual events correlate with a range of themes and character actions. A network of ideas operates around the film’s alternative ‘logics.’
