ABSTRACT
Prophets, priests, seers and sages of all the ages have written of a Golden Age in flaming words of poetry or prose. Reformers have promised the dawning of such a day when their views will be universally applied. Ministers and theologians promised it when they have succeeded in converting the world. It remained for God, in prophecy, to locate time and place. In the beginning the Lord sanctified a seventh part of time, the seventh day, the seventh month, the seventh year, and seven times seven, or forty-nine, and then the year of Jubilee. This will necessitate the sanctifying of the seventh thousand years. By all possible ways of computing time, we are closing six thousand years from Adam, and the next thousand years is the Sabbath of the Lord, Our God. As God labored and toiled six thousand years and rested on the seventh, the human race was to labor and toil for six thousand years, then Christ was to descend, bind the Devil, and with His resurrected saints inaugurate a reign of righteousness for one thousand years (The Sabbath).
