ABSTRACT

Project Technology Management (PTechM) includes the processes required to create a Project Technology Management Plan. It describes and defines how the Performance Improvement Team will plan, execute, check, and act on the implementation of the technology to be used to complete the project and to be used in the installed design. The Performing Organization chosen should have the resources with the knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to submit a proposal or a quotation detailing what such an undertaking would entail, based on the Receiving Organization's expectations as documented in its Requirements document. Tailoring should address the competing constraints of: Scope, Schedule, Cost, Resources, Quality, and Risk. Applying Project Management to Performance Improvement Teams can be done in an iterative and scalable way that matches the unique challenges and struggles facing Project Managers and their Performance Improvement Teams.
