ABSTRACT

Organizations that have a Program Management Office with a portfolio of projects should already have a set of project technologies in the form of a "standard" set of applications or a single system for managing projects. Project Technology Management includes the processes required to create a Project Technology Management Plan, which describes and defines how the Performance Improvement Team will plan, execute, check, and act on the implementation of the technology to be used to complete the project. The Technology Management Plan is a subsidiary element or component of the Project Management Plan that describes which project technology resources will be used to complete the project and how it will be implemented, documented, trained on and integrated into the daily work routines of the performance improvement project team. Revise the Technology Management Plan to change how people implement, document, and design/develop/deliver training for the project technology.
