The integrity of an investigation relies heavily on the ethics of the investigator and how they approach the process. The ethical process involves honesty, fairness and the overall truthfulness of the investigator. The integrity of the investigator is a prime factor in how the investigation will be conducted, received and, just as important, perceived.
