ABSTRACT

All students need praise and acknowledgment for their successes. Research has determined the optimal level to be four praises for each correction. Not every teacher requires or requests a behavior plan in a sincere manner. Positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS) is a very familiar school of thought and research-backed intervention in the school world. Not every teacher requires or requests a behavior plan in a sincere manner. Sometimes those who spend every day with a difficult student just need some validation as motivation to go back and run their own potentially successful interventions. Too often, many behavior intervention plans are the result of computerized software. As most BIPs are connected to special education Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and most IEPs are managed by specialized software, the progression of producing a BIP document through the same specialized software only seems natural.
