ABSTRACT

This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the concepts covered in the preceding chapters of this book. The book begins with an explanation about why health professionals should be trained as entrepreneurs. It provides real tools and resources for readers to build entrepreneurial solutions in the health care setting through approaches tested by nursing PhD candidates at George Washington University and by leaders from around the world at THNK School of Creative Leadership. Entrepreneurship is an iterative process that involves continuous reflection and action. The real work entails acting on the enterprise business plan, reflecting on what worked or didn’t and acting again. Entrepreneurialism can be one useful avenue for achieving innovative approaches to excellent patient care.
