ABSTRACT

The young people of Eugenia will be encouraged to look forward to early marriage, and they will not be prevented from doing so by economic or prudential anxieties. Eugenia should approximate to that happy condition dreamt of by the philosophic anarchists, in which courts of justice and laws and police for their enforcement are all outgrown. The effects of race-blending and the many allied problems of human biology will be a principal field of research in the University of Eugenia. Eugenia is a scheme for bringing together persons of superior strains, for promoting fertile unions of a kind which will give to the world an ever-increasing number of persons of high calibre. An island would have many advantages. But, whether an island or not, it should be not less than five hundred square miles in extent, and might with advantage be as large as ten thousand square miles.
