ABSTRACT
AMONG educated Indians there is a profound distrust of the League of Nations at the present time, which is not diminishing but increasing.
"League of Nations!" said an Indian friend to me, "League of Robbers, that's what I call it. It's nothing more than a meeting of the Great Powers of Europe to divide the spoil, and keep guard over the loot! What has India got to do in that company?"
