ABSTRACT
Like the US and Canada, Australia has been a country of immigrants since its inception, and in order to maintain its "WASP-ish"-European-Christian culture it carefully balanced and monitored the origins of the new immigrants. Immigrants numbers amount to less than half a million of a total of over 20 million, when Muslim immigrants demonstrated against the US and Israel, hurled rocks against the Israeli Consulates and burned institutions of their Jewish compatriots. The situation worsened after the Bali Incident in 2002 when the Australians suddenly realized that their blissful isolation far from the trouble spots in Europe would no longer protect them from Islamic-oriented violence. In addition to violent anti-Israel riots of Australian Muslims, who use the same anti-Semitic themes as their European coreligionists, they also engage in active peddling of hatred against the Jews, incite to violence and glorify terrorism.
