ABSTRACT
The Democrats met at San Francisco in June, 1920, to select the candidates for President and Vice-President. FDR seconded the nomination of Al Smith, as a favorite son, for the Presidency. In the end the convention selected Governor James Cox of Ohio for the Presidential candidate and FDR as his running mate.
