While it is too early to evaluate the full impact of these developments and while the democratic and constitutional framework has exhibited consider able resilience, there is no doubt that the Israeli political system has been affected-beyond the composition of the parties, the leadership, and the like-and with it Israeli life in its entirety has been transformed.
