ABSTRACT
Basic Text: 1 Kings, 2 Kings, and 2 Chronicles relate the stories of the monarchies of Israel and of Judah until their end. In the Bible the discussion of these monarchies is merged, which makes sense given the constant relationships each monarchy had with the other. The monarchs of Israel are presented in Table 13.1, along with their fathers, the year in the reign of the king of Judah in which their reign began, the dates of their reigns, the length of their reigns, and their tribe.
