ABSTRACT
Political specialization may emphasize certain perspectives toward change. Obviously demands for innovation can be basic or restricted in scope, and radical or moderate in method. The basic changes are revolutionary, and restricted changes are reforms. The most extréme positions in the spectrum advocate or pursue revolution by radical methods. Revolution can be directed toward introducing a new order or toward restoring a past systém (counterrevolution).
