ABSTRACT
The natural family opens the portals to the good life, to true happiness, even to bliss. Two basic assaults on the natural family occurred, with their roots reaching back several hundred years: in brief, the challenge of industrialism and the assault of new, family-denying ideas. The partisans of a "post-family" world have taught that liberty means freedom from tradition, from religious faith, from family, from community. True liberty rests on family ownership of real, productive property. Political liberty includes freedom from the modern social engineers, who would create their own artificial orders based on social class, or racism, or the violence of androgyny (the negation of woman and man). In truth, human beings are made to be conjugal, to live in homes with vital connections to parents, spouse, and children. Authentic freedom comes in and through the natural family.
