ABSTRACT
The N o r t h American dilemma lies i n the fact that there are strong economic incentives for the United States, Canada, and Mexico to merge their economies into one powerful N o r t h American free-trade zone; but doing so w i l l probably lead to closer political and cultural ties between these countries. What w i l l be the impact on the peoples of these three societies?
