ABSTRACT

This introduction presents an overview of the key concepts discussed in the subsequent chapters of this book. The book treats the special situation of these communities; mutual confession of Christ; the study of Sacred Scripture; the sacrament of baptism; life in union with Christ. It also treats the special situation of these communities; mutual confession of Christ; the study of Sacred Scripture; the sacrament of baptism; life in union with Christ. The general principles of Catholic ecumenism, Archbishop Martin pointed out, assert that the unity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is the heart of the mystery of unity in the Church. The secretariat largely responsible for this document was organized for the promotion of Christian unity. The voice of the Church on religious liberty is being waited for in universities, in national and international organizations, in Christian and non-Christion communities, in the papers, and in public opinion— and it is being waited for with urgent expectancy.
