ABSTRACT

Future technology will provide wealth, or at least a comfortable living, for more than a select few. In the future, basic changes in the population control can be expected. The impact of population changes will be less pronounced than in the past because they will be anticipated, calculated, and controlled. More and more people will live in scattered communities rather than in metropolitan centers. Continued population pressure has caused continued technological advance in the countries of Europe's dynamic economic center. The economic effect of population growth is a new problem in the developing countries. The progression from population growth to economic, political, and cultural advance has become accelerated in recent times. New people will play, if in different form, their traditional role as the creators of broad economic, political, social, and cultural opportunity. New leaders will create the new designs, the new dimensions, the values of a new age.
